Water has been restored at the Palmiet Palmiet River pumpstation after divers cleared the pumps of debris.

The water is now pumping to the Kleinmond Water Treatment Plant that supply to the reservoirs and water network.

We ask the public to reduce their consumption to give the reservoirs a chance to refill.

In the meantime the Municipality will continue providing water tankers until the reservoirs have fully recovered.
