The Cape Town Weather office has issued a weather warning for rough seas along the Overstrand coast today until tomorrow evening (3 and 4 March 2021).

High waves in the range of 3.5 and 4 meters are forecast. Together with the spring tide for the current week, this could result in waves reaching further during high tides.

Anglers and beachgoers are advised to be aware of large unpredictable waves along the coast, which might be caught off guard.
