Overstrand Municipality is planning an educational training outreach for local youths to discuss what the three-month life-skill training programme of Chrysalis Academy Overstrand entails.
The information sessions will focus on the:
- application requirements
- screening process ahead of recruitment
- health and fitness assessment
- drug screening
- substance misuse
The Protection Services Directorate will also be assisting the youth with the 2024 BRAVO (Female) applications for the September 2024 intake. Young women, who want to contribute to society by positively changing their lifestyle, should apply. The closing date for applications is 29 February 2024.
The outreach session per area will be as follows:
- Hermanus on 12 February 2024, from 09:00 at the Hermanus Auditorium
- Kleinmond on 13 February 2024, from 09:00 at Proteadorp Community Hall
- Gansbaai on 14 February 2024 from 09:00 at Gansbaai Tourism Hall
