The Building Industry Bargaining Council (BIBC) will be visiting Hermanus on 11 May 2022 and Gansbaai on 12 May 2022 at the Hermanus Municipal Auditorium and Gansbaai Academia Clubhouse respectively.
Anybody in the construction industry and operating in the Overstrand area are welcome to attend regardless of whether they are a registered member of the Bargaining Council for the Construction Sector.
During the roadshow, officials of BIBC will engage with the public on:
- Employee Benefit Administration Services
- Dispute Resolution Services
- Collective Agreement Service
Registration starts at 08:00 and from 09:00 – 12:00 the services available to registered employers are explained. After that there will be a question and answer session.
Bargaining Councils are established by employers and trade unions. They are responsible for the regulation and monitoring of employment conditions in a specific sector and area.
