The Absa Cape Epic comes to the Overstrand for the fifth time. This year, Overstrand is the host destination for Stages 1, 2 and 3 of the race.
Stage 1 includes 2 550m of climbing as it ascends through the best of the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. Stage 2 is sure to be one of the most captivating days of the 2023 race. Stage 3’s challenge begins from the gun, with a climb out of Hermanus and into the wild.
The following road closures will take place:

Monday 20 March 2023 (Stage 1):
Start at Hermanus High from 07:00: Jose Burman and Mountain Drive – lane closure for ± 30 minutes
Tuesday 21 March 2023 (Stage 2):
From 07:30 – ± 10:00 the left-hand land of 7th Street, Voëlklip (direction Stanford) will be closed
Wednesday 22 March 2023 (Stag 3):
Start at Hermanus High from 07:00: Jose Burman and Mountain Drive – lane closure for ± 30 minutes
