A women suspected of shoplifting at Jet Store in Hermanus was arrested on 13 June 2024.

Acting swiftly, a car guard stopped a law enforcement patrol car of Overstrand Municipality in the CBD to inform them about a lady driving a blue Ford Fiesta with CF registration number who stole items at Jet Hermanus and fled.

A good spot and quick response by the officers resulted in the vehicle being stopped in Still Street.

Jet management confirmed the denim jeans, worth R1000, were stolen from the store.
