The Department of Home Affairs (DHA) confirmed that their scanner machine is still out of order. They will be in the Overstrand on the following dates for smart ID card collection only – no other transactions can be processed until further notice:
04 March 2024: Qhayiya Secondary School, Hermanus
11 March 2024: Moffat Hall, Mount Pleasant
12 March 2024: Hawston Thusong Centre
05 March 2024: Proteadorp Community Hall, Kleinmond
13 March 2024: Stanford Community Hall
20 March 2024: Masakhane Community Hall, Gansbaai
Need transport to DHA?
As interim arrangement, Overstrand Municipality would like to do a needs analysis of residents who cannot afford to travel at their own expense to the Caledon and Bredasdorp Home Affairs offices.
