The Overstrand Municipality’s Finance Department will kick off an Indigent Roadshow this Saturday, 4 March 2023, to assist needy households to register or re-apply for Indigent Subsidy support and to update the indigent database. Going forward the roadshow will be rolled out to other venues across the Overstand municipal area.
Support will also be available during the week at any of the municipal offices.
Existing indigent subsidy recipients who are on the municipal database and have registered previously, must urgently apply to renew their registration on a year-to-year basis.
All categories of indigent households (including those households with a property value up to R220 000) must also urgently submit new applications.
The roadshow scheduled for the next month will take place from 09:00 – 12:00 as follows:
