Overstrand Municipality will be hosting four Supplier Open Days to assist businesses, especially small and medium enterprises, to register on the Overstrand Supplier Database and to provide guidance with registering on the Central Suppliers Database.
The Overstrand supplier days will be held on:
Gansbaai: 22 February 2024 at 10:00 at the Tourism Centre
Stanford: 23 February 2024 at 10:00 at the Community Hall
Hermanus: 27 February 2024 at 09:00 at the Multi-Purpose Centre, New Harbour
Kleinmond: 28 February 2024 at 10:00 at Proteadorp Community Hall
The purpose of the session is to engage suppliers on:
- Business Improvement
- How to do Business with the Municipality and other organs of state,
- How to Complete a Request For Quotation (RFQ) and Tender documents,
- Tender Scam Alerts (Don’t Get Scammed)
- Funding opportunities
The session aims to add more substance in addressing the (how, who, and when) questions faced by the Suppliers in doing business with the Municipality.
