Overstrand Municipality no longer sends out printed accounts by post – only by e-mail or SMS. Please make sure that the Municipality has your correct and updated contact details to ensure that you receive your statement every month.
1. E-MAIL
Residents are encouraged to register to receive their municipal accounts via e-mail. Kindly note, that you will not get a confirmation email that you have successfully registered on the SMS or e-mail database.
2. SMS NOTIFICATION
Ratepayers who do not have an e-mail address, can get their municipal account statement via SMS notification. Only one cell phone number per household/account will be accommodated.
E-mail your contact details and account number to enquiries@overstrand.gov.za or contact a Client Services Officer at your closest municipal rates hall in Gansbaai, Stanford, Hermanus or Kleinmond during the week.
