The banking details for the payment of accounts and services for Overstrand Municipality will change on 1 July 2024.
The municipality’s banking service providers are appointed according to five-year tender agreements and ABSA Bank met the latest tender’s terms and requirements.
While the old account will remain open for a period, the Municipality strongly encourages all ratepayers to switch to the new details from 1 July.
If you have a debit order on your account, details will automatically be updated.
If you have created an account for online banking, please delete the old account and create a new one with the details as below.
Those clients who pay accounts via EASYPAY, PAY@ or SAPO need only to present their latest municipal account at the pay point.
The new bank details will also be updated on your monthly municipal account for your easy reference.
