For the most part, municipal offices will remain open during normal office hours (07:45 – 16:30) on weekdays.
The exceptions are the days around Christmas and New Year:
- CHRISTMAS: Municipal offices will close at 13:00 on 24 December and reopen at 07:45 on the 30th of December.
- NEW YEAR: Municipal offices will close at 13:00 on the 31st of December and reopen at 07:45 on 6 January 2025.
- TRAFFIC OFFICES: Traffic Services will close on Tuesday, 24 December 2024 at 13:00 and will reopen on Monday morning, 6 January 2025.
Irrespective of office closures, do note that all essential services will be provided as usual throughout the festive season.
In addition, Overstrand’s 24/7 Control Room as well as Fire & Rescue Services will be fully manned throughout to deal with any emergency that might crop up.
