We received numerous calls from concerned residents about smoke visible in Hermanus.

The smoke in our area is a result of an ecological burn at Grootbos Nature Reserve near Gansbaai.

Firefighters from Overberg District Municipality (ODM), Greater Overberg Fire Protection Association (goFPA) and other role players are attending to the controlled burn.
